Testosterone Test (Saliva)
Provided by Individual Wellbeing Diagnostic Laboratories

The measurement of testosterone from a single saliva sample, can give valuable information about the free active levels of this hormone. In women high levels are associated with a number of problems. In men the test can be used to measure testosterone levels, which naturally fall with age.

Testosterone levels are measured from a single saliva sample. The collection of these hormones in saliva is a convenient non-invasive and stress free procedure. In addition saliva samples reveal critical information about hormones as, unlike plasma samples they represent the free, bio-available fraction of the hormone.
